Caton Gala Review

What a fantastic day, the weather, the crowd (our biggest yet) the entertainment (the best yet) and everybody made lots of money for their local causes. A great big thank you to our helpers and volunteers, without you we could not run our Gala, but the real big stars are my fantastic committee - Fifteen of the best people I could have.

Caton Gala 2009 - Accounts

The Committee gave three Donations of £300, one for £200 and one for £100. Total £1200. We had hoped this year’s Gala would cover the cost of the above expenditure, but unfortunately it did not, due to the weather on the day. The gate money in 2008 was £3,620, this year £2,670 so £1000 down on last year.
