Fell View Play Area

Your help and support needed for Fell View Play Park

A top priority for our community has long been a better play area, especially for toddlers. At last Caton and Brookhouse can have a brilliant new play park, professionally designed, in the footprint of the tired Fell View play area.

Caton with Littledale Play Park Action Group - New Year News

Many thanks to everyone who helped to make "Lights Alive" a great community event around the switch on of the lights of the village Christmas tree, with carols sweetly sung for the crowds by children from Caton Community School.

Memories of Fell View Play Area

We would like to hear from anyone who has photos of the Fell View play area in past times .. especially of children playing, and the giant slide which some of you will remember! We can scan in photos to put on the website. We would be interested in hearing memories of the play area especially in the very early days, as we hope to write a short history!

Fell View Update

A 'Working Group' is being set up to plan the refurbishment of the Fell View Play Area. Several bids for funding have been and will be submitted based on the outline design produced but this is not the final design. There will be opportunities to refine the plan before anything is built and we still need to secure funding.

A local Landscape Designer has produced a scheme for the proposed new Play Area at Fell View. The plans are shown below.
