Caton Gala Committee A.G.M.

The meeting was held on 10th September and the Committee were voted in en-bloc. The treasurer gave us an up to date view of our finances, and from this information we gave the following organisations a donation:- The Scouts; St Paul’s PTA; St Paul’s Pre-School; Churches Together, and Caton Cricket Club. We also purchased 10 new tables and 70 new chairs.

All our profit has now been distributed and we cannot make any more donations.

We then got down to this coming Gala Day which will be on the 6th of June 2009. The Committee decided on the following entertainment:- Bungi-Trampoline, Rodeo-Bull, Full size Climbing Wall, Batala Drummers, One man and his Dog with Comedy, Busking/Singing Puppets - that’s different! We are looking for one more centre stage act, If you have seen something good this summer please let me know and we will try to book them.

So we are now aiming to give you your best Gala Day ever - Good Food, Good All Round Entertainment, Good Company.
