Fell View

As you may know the Parish Council has been consulting on proposed developments at Fell View and has put in a bid for funding. The plans have changed slightly and we are going ahead with the modernisation of the existing play area to include equipment for the under fives and for older children.

Plans for a ’Teenage Area’ in the grassed part have been shelved because of the level of opposition although the Parish Council is proposing to replace the existing goal, which looks somewhat sad, with a new junior sized football goal.

The outcome of the funding bid will not be known for sometime yet and we will keep you informed of progress. The Parish Council would like to thank everybody who took part in the consultation and to let you know that your responses have been taken into consideration when we came to our decision.
