Caton Green Road Closure

From Thursday 17th April 2008, Caton Green Road (C488) is closed to through traffic between 'Croftlands' and 'Stoneymead'. In simple terms that is the stretch from the start of Caton Green almost through to the A683 at Claughton.
This is to allow United Utilities to renew the water main which will take about 4 weeks.
There is access for residents but not for through trafiic. Diversions will be in force throughout the period and residents of Caton Green may experience disruption to their water supply from time to time although advance notice will be given.
