Our 125th Anniversary was celebrated in fine style and in convivial company with a sumptuous buffet at the Victoria Institute. A full house enjoyed the food, wine and displays. Thank you all for the support. Pictures of the occasion will be on display at our next meeting.
The next event on our calendar is the evening talk at the Institute, 7.30pm, 14th February (why not bring your committee a valentine’s card!). The speaker will be Mr Ken Green of the Walled Garden, Hornby. His subject is ‘Ponds, Bog Gardens and Wet Areas’. Now how topical is that!! See you then. Ring Graham 770919 if you want a lift.
