Our plans are progressing well for the event and we hope yours are to, for the floats, fancy dress bikes and another other fancy dress entries remember the theme is ‘Animals’. To add to the attractions we mentioned in the December’s Link we have also booked the Rodeo Bull, bouncy castle assault course and a gyroscope.
We still have the Ice Cream and Tea/cake/sandwiches stalls available for any local club/society to organise and run on the day to help with their fund raising. If you are interested please contact John Hall on 770682 to discuss the detail.
The event takes a lot of planning and organising and we are in desperate need for more people to join the Committee, we meet once a month for around 1.5 hours in the Station Pub usually a Wednesday night. Our next meeting is planned for 23rd January 2008 at 8pm, please come along and see what’s involved. We are looking for volunteers to help at the actual event ie the evening before setting up the field and then on the day itself.
