Caton Gala - 7th June 2008
This year’s theme of ‘Animals’ has been chosen by pupils who attend our 2 local primary schools. From Caton St Paul’s - Abigail Allen, Kaite Gott, Morgan Gott, Rebekah Preece and Izzy Walker, and from Caton Community Primary - Megan Abra, Joe Genna, Erin Gosling, Sean Milligan, and Hannah Pican. We also asked pupils for their ideas on what they would like to do on the day. We are now trying hard to make some of these happen.
By popular request we have booked the Birds of Prey display, Bungee Trampoline and the Barala Drummers. Remember we are also including the Fancy Dress Bikes in the parade so get designing on the theme of animals.
As in previous years we have a number of stalls available for local clubs/societies to organise and run on the day to help in their fund raising ie Burgers & Hot Dogs; Teas, Cakes & Sandwiches; Ice-Cream; Hog-Roast; and the Tombola Stall.
