The Gardening Club at the Gala

We had a good time at The Gala and on our evening trip, with the new competitions at the gala being well supported. In fact we were asked to revive some of the baking categories that there were at the old Caton Show.

So next year look out for an even bigger Gardening Club presence with this years 4 competitions plus Victoria Sponge, Chocolate Chip Cookie and Apple Pie categories! Yummie – I’ll do the testing.

Have a good summer. We will be looking at your gardens in conjunction with The Parish Council and announcing the results in September.
