Gardening Club at Caton Gala
At Caton Gala we man the Caton and Brookhouse Gardening Club tent.
This year, as usual, plants will be on sale, you will be able to join and there will be other information about the Gardening Club.
We will be holding the usual Minature Gardens Competition for junior school children but this year, because it is our 125th Anniversary we will also be holding other competitions as follows:
Junior school children may submit
A Minature Garden - a garden in a seed tray of approximately 37x25cms.
An animal made of vegetables, seeds, fruit and nuts.
A painted stone.
An open category ie for mums and dads as well as children
A flower arrangement in a tea cup.
Bring your entries to our tent any time in the morning. Listen out for the prizewinners over the PA and collect your entries after 3pm.
