Caton & Brookhouse Gardening Club

After the recent AGM our new year has begun. Many thanks to all our members for supporting the club over the past year. At the AGM Joan Cunliffe left the committee. Joan has been a stalwart of the club since its renaissance and we are all very grateful for her contribution over the past 9 years. Happy retirement Joan as a mere member of the society! In her place we are delighted to welcome Sandra Kay on to the committee. The remainder of the committee were, surprise surprise, re-elected unopposed and unanimously. George Woodend remains as our Chairman for yet another year. Subscriptions, unchanged at £2.50, are now due. We hope for yet another increase in membership this year to a village society which has now existed for 125 years.

Don’t forget - open gardens on 23/24 June. If you want to open your garden, large or small – visitors find all gardens interesting, let Graham know.
