Caton Gala
The big day is nearly upon us. The Parade leaves the Black Bull at 12noon. Attractions on the field include:- Magnus the StrongMan; Comedy Trampoline display; Bungee Trampoline; Craft Tent, and Funfair. All for only £2.50 for adults, Children Free.
This year with a theme of Planes, Trains and Automobiles we would like people to join the parade with decorated bicycles. Prizes to be won.
The Parade will be lead by the Gala Queen and her attendants who are:-
- Gala Queen - Alexandra Dickinson
- Attendants - Ella McVickers and Hannah Mills
- Page Boy - Connor Hebblethwaite
Many thanks to all the children that entered the drawing competition. The winners are:- Bethany Greenhalgh; Sean Milligan; Ruby Sheard. Please collect your prizes on the day.
Anybody available to help on Friday evening or Saturday morning to help set up the field would be more than welcome - all extra hands appreciated. Anyone who could loan a van or pick-up for the day to help transport tables and chairs etc; also is anyone able to loan us any tables for the craft tent. Please contact Ian Rawcliffe on 770196.
