Litter

I am getting reports that there is always a lot of litter outside the Victoria Institute and elsewhere in the Village. Can the Parish Council make a plea for everybody to try and keep the place clean. If there are persistent offenders, dropping litter, they can be fined by the City Council under new powers but we need some evidence - photos from a mobile are good enough. We hope we don’t have to resort to this sort of action but if needs must then we will. It is such a shame to see the villages spoilt by litter so can we all do our bit, especially as we would like to be seen at our best in the Best Kept Village Competition this year.
