We are also mindful that next year marks the Diamond Jubilee of the accession to the throne of Her Majesty The Queen. We have therefore decided to hold a “one off” bumper Gala to commemorate this event.

Now is the time to start planning your floats and costumes. As we announced in the December edition of “The Link” the main feature of the Gala will be the “Knockout Roadshow”.

In keeping with this and as next year marks the Diamond Jubilee of the accession to the throne of Her Majesty The Queen we decided hold a bumper Gala to commemorate these events. This will comprise a “Knockout Roadshow”.

I would like to thank all our helpers on the day, and our very efficient Gala Committee, who work very hard throughout the year and on the day.
