I would like to thank the Schools, and Pre-Schools, plus Churches Together for the fantastic floats. Big thank you Mums and Dads, they looked so good it was hard to pick a winner.

Submitted by Ian Rawcliffe on Thu, 21/02/2008 - 7:06am.In 2006 we were asked to vacate our store in Copy Lane, so United Utilities could sell it for development. We received £10,000 compensation, so we could rent or buy a store for our Gala equipment. The Gala Committee were approached by the Committee restoring the old Scout Hut for financial help, and offering storage facilities if need for our Gala equipment.

Submitted by Ian Rawcliffe on Sun, 23/12/2007 - 5:16am.Our plans are progressing well for the event and we hope yours are to, for the floats, fancy dress bikes and another other fancy dress entries remember the theme is ‘Animals’. To add to the attractions we mentioned in the December’s Link we have also booked the Rodeo Bull, bouncy castle assault course and a gyroscope.

From Caton St Paul’s - Abigail Allen, Kaite Gott, Morgan Gott, Rebekah Preece and Izzy Walker, and from Caton Community Primary - Megan Abra, Joe Genna, Erin Gosling, Sean Milligan, and Hannah Pican.
