Thank you all for turning out to our recent speaker meetings - we are playing to packed houses these days. Must be the convivial atmosphere and value for money!
A subsidised trip to Levens Hall for currently registered paid-up members is to be held on Sunday 13 May. Please let Graham (770919) know asap if you are interested.
We need nominations for notable spring gardens in Caton and Brookhouse. Ring Graham or George (770989) if you have seen anything worthy of the Bleasdale Trophy. We hope to be judging in the middle of April.
Our next meeting is the AGM on Thursday 12 April at 7.30 in the Victoria Institute. It will be a relaxed, sociable evening (for members only of course), with free entry, wine and nibbles and no raffle. Come and hear what we have planned for the year ahead and to add your ideas for the future of the society.
Then on May 12th we will be holding the annual plant sale and coffee morning. It was a great success last year and we hope to make it better than ever this year. Make a note in your diaries now and come and enjoy the cheapest tea/coffee in town that day. If you have any particular orders for plants let Jane (770919) know.
