Nominations open for Caton Community Awards
Do you know an ‘unsung’ hero in our community? Is there someone who makes a real difference to your life - who you think deserves a public ‘thank you’? Has someone helped in your organisation and always been there when needed?
If so, then you need to nominate them for the Caton-with-Littledale Community Awards. These awards are given annually by the Parish Council to individuals who have been involved in the life of our community. There are various awards - for life time service, for an outstanding achievement and for young people. But what we need is for people to be nominated by members of the village. The Parish Council will then select the winners for this year and a small token of the community’s thanks will then be presented to the winners.
Those who have received the awards in previous years have been very touched by being nominated - so go on - make someone’s day and nominate them.
If you have an idea about who you would like to nominate then please contact Cllr. Stuart Langhorn 770957 - Alternatively you can write down the name of the person and the reason they have been nominated and post it to Stuart at 5 Hawthorn Close, Brookhouse. Nominations close 30th March.
