Twinning

We have held a Village Meeting to discuss how people feel about a Twinning Arrangement with the French Village of Socx. Obviously it is only worth progressing if there is a certain level of enthusiasm in the Village.

We could enjoy cultural and sporting exchanges even if it is only to visit pubs or cafes and engage in a game of Bowls or Boule.

If the schools got involved it would help with language learning. The meeting was not very well advertised so if you have any views on the matter we would still welcome them , e-mail, write or phone the Clerk to the Parish Council.
