The Razing of Caton Chapel - Free eBook

Readers of the Link might be interested in some developments taking place on my website www.tioli.co.uk. I am placing a ‘beta’ version of my electronic book in pdf format concerning the rebuilding of Caton Church.Although the book begins very parochially with that event the story expands to take in 100 years of the history of two generations of the Hodgson family of Caton from the time of the Seven Years War with France until the time of the American Civil War. The files are being posted chapter by chapter as I edit them into a common format and each can be downloaded free for personal use. Currently the Introduction and first three chapters are available. I anticipate posting further chapters at approximately weekly intervals.There are many reasons for my doing things this way. One was the sheer frustration involved in trying to find a publisher who thought the story worth his effort. Secondly I can reach a far wider audience at £0 per copy than ever I could at, for example, £25 per copy. Finally I am inviting comments and criticism which I hope will ultimately lead to improvements in later editions of the story.
