Lancashire WI walk in the Lune Vally

On Monday 22nd February and Tuesday 23 February you may have noticed large groups of ladies walking along the riverside and across the fields behind Brookhouse. These were members of the Lancashire Federation of Women's Institutes being guided around our area by members of Caton WI.
The walk proved so popular that on each day there were two groups of 20 going in opposite directions along the route but they met up in St Paul's Church Hall for lunch, prepared and served by members of Caton WI committee.
