2010/11 Budget

At the recent Parish Council meeting councillors took the decision to increase the Precept for next year to raise funds towards the exciting new plans for Fell View Play Area.

The Parish Council is committed to providing a high quality Play Area for our children to replace the somewhat outdated and obsolete equipment we have at the moment and provide facilities for toddlers.

We have been successful with applications to various funding bodies who have recognised the value of what we are trying to do and have agreed in principal to funding the development.

The Parish Council needs to provide its contribution. This increase will amount to between £ 2 and £ 4 per property, depending on the Tax band, for this next year and then the Council intends to return to the previous levels of precept.
