Caton Gala 2010

Plans have started to be made for our next Gala which will take place on Saturday 12th June 2010. The fancy dress theme will be "Green Planet" covering things such as going green, the environment, recycling, green energy etc. The parade will of course be led by a Gala Queen and Attendants, applications for these roles along with entries for the picture competition will be open to all children living in Caton / Brookhouse and any children who attend our two local primary schools, further details and entry forms will be provided in early 2010.

A range of entertainment is being organised and we would like to invite any local clubs, groups, societies who would like to have a ‘spotlight slot’ in the centre ring to contact us via the number below with details of your display / show. There is also the opportunity for any local clubs, groups or societies to raise some money by running a side stall eg tombola or a food stall eg ice cream, tea/coffee/cakes/sandwiches etc. If you are interested in a "spotlight slot" or running a stall please contact John Hall on (01524) 770682.
