Gardening Club - October News

Thanks to everyone who came to the mini Harvest Show - it was a great evening with lots of entries and many congratulations to Mrs Jean Bolland who won the prize for Overall Winner. At our next meeting, we will have a talk from one of the gardeners from Sizergh Castle. This National Trust property has a large limestone rock garden, including part of the National Collection of Hardy Ferns, and wildflower and water gardens form part of this elegant estate. "Sizergh's Seasons" takes us through the gardening year there, and the talk starts at 7 30 pm on Thursday 8 October.(50p for members, £1 for non-members.)

We have decided to hold our Christmas meal on 1 December this year - you’ll be able to read all the details and view the menu at our meeting on 8th October.
