Fell View Play Area

A local Landscape Designer has produced a scheme for the proposed new Play Area at Fell View. The plans are shown below.

The latest design for the redeveloped Play Area shows the equipment relocated mainly to within the boundaries of the existing fenced area with new access and equipment. The number of trees and planting has been reduced in response to comments from the local community whilst maintaining the natural play element of the proposals. The design has been generally divided into three areas with facilities for Toddlers and older children and includes exciting and challenging pieces of equipment.

An application for funding has been submitted to the Lancashire Environment Fund and a bid for Lottery money is being prepared. Building the development depends on funding being received and depending on the outcome the development may be built in phases.
