Twinning Group - Socx visits Caton

Thank you to all those who supported our strawberries and cream stall at the Gala. Pity it wasn't really the weather for it! Perhaps soup would have been better!

We will be welcoming a party from our twinned village of Socx in Northern France from 16-19th July. Group activities are planned for both Friday and Saturday and include a dinner at the Scarthwaite Hotel on Friday evening and a Hog Roast at which Lune Valley Jazz band will provide the music on Saturday evening. At the time of writing, we do not know how many will come or if we have sufficient accommodation for them.
