St Paul’s Churchyard - Annual Gardening Marathon

Friday 19th June between 5pm and 8pm and Saturday 20th June between 12noon and 4pm.

The Churchyard belongs to the people from the parish of Caton with Littledale and many of you who have attended Sunday worship, weddings, funerals or other occasions will know how presentable it is kept. This is done by a small group of dedicated volunteers on a weekly basis and we are very grateful to them for their hard work throughout the year.

In order to make their work easier it is intended to start and annual churchyard gardening marathon when anyone from the village turns up with a garden implement/s, anything from a trowel to a strimmer and you can choose from a variety of tasks. Just think what could be achieved, and what a difference it would make if a large number of people showed up for a few hours. It would be great if you could spare some time.
