Famous Poet comes to Caton St Paul's Primary
The famous Poet, Paul Cookson will be visiting Caton St. Pauls Primary School on 4th March. He will be in school working with each class, with books being sold after school on the 4th, 5th and 6th. This is part of the school’s annual Book Fair, working with Scholastic, to inspire and motivate young readers.
March is a busy time for the children as they are also busy preparing for a Football Festival at Wray on the 4th, a Drama Workshop at Casterton School on the 5th and on the 6th is Comic Relief where a lot of fund-raising is planned! On Saturday the 14th March the school will be show-casing their artistic talents in Hornby Institute and the 17th March sees the school participating in their first ever Tag Rugby tournament in Kirkby Lonsdale.
On the 24th and 25th March, the school will be taking part in the Lancaster and District Schools Music Festival, to be held at the Ashton Hall. Children from Key stage 1 and Key Stage 2 will be performing some wonderful songs on both evenings.
