Bluebell walk in Roeburndale

After the success of the Walk to Defy Dementia at Lancaster University in October, Sylvia Edmondson was inspired to create her own sponsored event in her home parish of Roeburndale.

The walk will take place on Saturday 14th May and start at 3.30pm from Wray-with-Botton Primary School. Parking is available at Bridge House Tea Rooms, LA2 8QP. You will receive directions in the pack sent out to you, so please include a postal address.

The walk is on rough terrain with steep sections so stout footwear and suitable clothing are essential. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. At the end of the walk, you will be invited to a hog roast at Wray Village Institute, where there will be live music and puddings for all participants. The walk will take approximately two and a half hours and is about four miles when taking into account the terrain.

The Roeburndale Bluebell Walk is kindly sponsored by Connect 2 Cleanrooms who are an award winning industry leader, creating modular cleanroom solutions for critical environments, both in the UK and internationally. The company designs and manufactures panel, hard and soft wall cleanrooms in-house and delivers quality cleanroom solutions.
