The Parade starts out from the Black Bull, Brookhouse at 11.30. Admission to the field is £3.00 and children go free.
Price £7.00 per adult, accompanied children free. No dogs. The major part of the garden can be reached by wheel chair. Refreshments are available.
DIRECTIONS: Take the M6 to junction 34 then A683 to Caton (2 miles), turn right towards Quernmore and after half a mile you reach the entrance.
The June trip on Thursday 17th is to York stopping at Ilkely for coffee. Leaving Brookhouse at 9.30am and on to Caton. The trips are open to anybody even if you aren’t a member.

Hornby Drama Group present a play for voices – “Under Milk Wood” by Dylan Thomas

We are also performing on Saturday 5th June, 7:30pm at The Centre @ Halton (Halton Community Centre), Low Road, Halton and Wednesday 30th June, 7:30pm at Hornby Institute, Main Street, Hornby.

The PTA will be hosting our annual Summer Fun Day on Saturday 25th June in the school playground from 2.00 - 4.00pm. There will be lots of stalls including Cakes, Toys, Plants, Hot Dogs, Tombola and a Bouncy Castle. Entry is free so do come along and enjoy the afternoon with us.

Come and buy some crafts, enjoy refreshments and have your car washed on Saturday 10th July 10.00am to 12 noon at Brookhouse Methodist Church. All funds raised will go to support work with poor families and street children in Albania.

The Lunesdale Agricultural Society is holding its Annual Show on Tuesday 10th August 2010. Founded in 1839 the show is held at Underley Park (the home of Kirkby Lonsdale RUFC) on the second Tuesday in August each year.

Billy Winn of Hornby Butchers will show us how to make some of their award winning sausages. We might even get to taste some!
The competition will be for a recipe using sausages.

During the first half of July there will be the usual judging of Best Kept Gardens, in conjunction with the Parish Council. The Awards will be presented at our September meeting on Thursday 9 September, 7 30 pm.
