The big day is nearly upon us, the event will start with the parade led by the Batalan Drummers leaving the Black Bull at 12 noon meandering its way to the field for 12.30pm when the President will judge the floats, ‘dressed-up’ bicycles and fancy dress - remember the theme for this year is ‘animals’. | ||

Lune Valley Craft Fairs has been set up to showcase the talents of local artisans. Most of whom are from the Lune Valley area, with one or two from further afield in the North West. The fairs will be held at the Victoria Institute in Caton on 6th April, 8th June & 17th August – and hopefully another one later in the year in time for your Christmas shopping. Start: 11:00 am

Price £7.00 per adult, accompanied children free. No dogs. The major part of the garden can be reached by wheel chair. Refreshments are available.
