Gardening under climate change

Bill Davies, Director of the Lancaster Environment Centre, and long time resident of the village, will be telling us how global warming is affecting our plant growth now and the predictions for the future of gardening practice.

Lune Valley Pre-School Centre is once again running their trip to Chester City Centre, on Saturday 10th November. The coach will leave the Black Bull at 8.00am and the Victoria Institute at 8.10am. We leave Chester at 5.30pm. The cost of this trip is £9.50. To book tickets, or for more details please ring Alison on 07751907358. We look forward to hearing from you.
