Submitted by Administrator on Sun, 25/05/2008 - 6:23am.The Parish Council feels that Caton and Brookhouse are not getting their fair share of Press coverage and are making this plea for people to get their stories/events etc to Wendy Turner (771069) who is the present correspondent for the Lancaster Guardian and she will forward them on.
Caton Gala - 7th June 2008

Summer Weekend Fair

Come and join in the fun in the Church Hall and help raise funds to repair the Church Tower.
Saturday 5th July: 2 -4pm. Cream Teas, Stalls, Plants, Cakes, Tombola, Raffle.
Friendship Club Trip to Penrith & Appleby

Senior Citizens Club trip to Southport

Lune Valley Craft Fairs
Submitted by Administrator on Wed, 19/03/2008 - 7:08am.Lune Valley Craft Fairs has been set up to showcase the talents of local artisans. Most of whom are from the Lune Valley area, with one or two from further afield in the North West.
The fairs will be held at the Victoria Institute in Caton on 6th April, 8th June & 17th August – and hopefully another one later in the year in time for your Christmas shopping.
Lunesdale Decorative and Fine Arts Society June talk

It will be the LDFAS Annual General Meeting followed by the talk given by Sam Riches BA MA PhD, “Dragonslayer, Martyr and Our Lady’s Knight: The Iconography of St George.”
