Best Kept Village Competition

Caton and Brookhouse have been awarded a number of prizes in the Lancashire Best Kept Village Competition and everybody should be justly proud of our achievements.

Caton was runner up in the Medium Village Class and Brookhouse was third with a Highly Commended Certificate. Caton was also named as most improved Medium Village.

Hedges

Could we remind people with hedges that it is your responsibility to cut them back and ensure that they don’t overhang footpaths, ginnels and pavements.

Thanks
