Village Garden Competition 2007

The Parish Council in collaboration with the Horticultural Society has been out and about judging the village gardens and they have made their decision. The Judges have been most impressed by the standard especially considering the awful summer we have had. Congratulations to all the winners and also to everybody in the village who take pride in their gardens.

September Library News

The new community library currently open in the Victoria Institute, Caton is now manned by volunteers for more hours.  We are now officially open on Tuesday afternoon 2pm to 5pm, Thursday mornings 10am to 12noon and Friday evenings 3.30pm to 7pm. Our volunteers are happy to help you choose a book or give you information about forthcoming events.



C & B Senior Citizens - Lakes Tour

The trip for September will be the ‘Lakes Tour’ departing from the Victoria Institute at 9.30am on Thursday 27th September.
