Parish Council Elections

It looks like there will be an election for the new Parish Council on Thursday 3rd May. Our publicity paid off and we have fourteen residents keen to be Councillors. The first meeting will be on the Tuesday after the election and I will do my best to get the details to all new Councillors as soon as possible after I know the result.

Litter

I am getting reports that there is always a lot of litter outside the Victoria Institute and elsewhere in the Village. Can the Parish Council make a plea for everybody to try and keep the place clean. If there are persistent offenders, dropping litter, they can be fined by the City Council under new powers but we need some evidence - photos from a mobile are good enough.
