This is your chance to hear about what is going on in Caton and Brookhouse and put questions to the Parish Council.
There will be short talks on the Twinning and on the redevelopment of Fell View play area.
Fell View
Submitted by Administrator on Sun, 27/04/2008 - 9:35am.As you may know the Parish Council has been consulting on proposed developments at Fell View and has put in a bid for funding. The plans have changed slightly and we are going ahead with the modernisation of the existing play area to include equipment for the under fives and for older children.
Caton Gala
Submitted by Ian Rawcliffe on Wed, 17/10/2007 - 6:56am.The big day is nearly upon us, the event will start with the parade led by the Batalan Drummers leaving the Black Bull at 12 noon meandering its way to the field for 12.30pm when the President will judge the floats, ‘dressed-up’ bicycles and fancy dress - remember the theme for this year is ‘animals’.
The Ship Open Weekend

From Friday 2nd May-Monday 5th May. Open all day Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Bouncy Castle for the kids, everyone welcome. New Menu, new prices. Home cooked food using only the finest local produce.
Senior Citizen's Club Trip to Carlisle

Women's Institute Meeting - Resolutions

Each year members vote on which resolutions will be put forward at the NFWI Annual General Meeting. The shortlist has not got down to two but only one can go forward so we will need to make a decision.
Lancaster Sword Club

Children from 7.00pm adults from 8.00pm.

Victoria Institute Improvements
Submitted by Administrator on Sun, 27/04/2008 - 10:09am.An Aggregates Levy grant, administered by Lancashire County Council, has provided the Victoria Institute with funding for progressing architect plans for the next stage of refurbishments; quantity surveyor costings of each part to support further grant applications; and a full appraisal of energy efficiency and renewable possibilities for the building.

Gardening Club - Plant Sale and Coffee Morning
