Please sign up for membership to support the community.

We have been busy trying to catalogue all the donated books, which has turned into quite a challenge.  Click here to get the current list so far!  As you will see it has been split into sections, so if you want to read any of these books please contact the library using the link below.

Many thanks to all who have donated books so we can keep a library type service in the village.  The majority have now been put on shelves in the new reception area at the Victoria Institute. At the moment they are just in general sections of Crime, Romance, Fiction, Thrillers, Cookery & Gardening, and there is also a small selection of Children’s books   We have also been given a selection of talking books but as yet we are not sure if they all still work.

Opening Hours

Tuesday from 2:00pm - 5:00pm

Thursday from 10.00am -12 noon

Friday from 3:30pm - 7:00pm.

Saturday from 9.45am to 11.45am

The library is being run by volunteers who will try to help you find a particular subject.  if you would like to take a book out away when the library is not manned, there will be a honesty sheet where your can record the details.

Because of the great response from the village in donating books, it has been decided that if we have duplicates of any donated books, we will offer these for sale to cover some of our running costs.
