Caton - Socx Twinning
On Saturday 12th April 2008 a formal twinning agreement was signed at the Victoria Institute.
Caton-with-Littledale is now twinned with Socx, France.

Submitted by Ruth Gibbons on Tue, 17/06/2008 - 7:09am.Following the highly successful visit of our French guests from our twin village of Socx in April, we are now planning our return trip to France at the end of October. Everybody – English and French alike – who took part in the events here of last April greatly enjoyed them.

On the 12th April 2008 a formal twinning agreement was signed by representatives of Caton-with-Littledale and Socx, France.
This ceremony, attended by 32 visitors from Socx and a number of host families and residents of Caton and Brookhouse, formalises the twinning of the two villages.

Submitted by Ruth Gibbons on Wed, 17/10/2007 - 6:36am.Many in the village will know (because there has been previous publicity in The Link) that about a year ago we received a twinning proposal from the village of Socx in northern France. Socx is a bit further from Dunquerque than we are from Lancaster.
