12:00 PM, Station Hotel Field. Let the fun commence. Procession will leave the Black Bull Inn, Brookhouse at approximately 11:30. As you are already aware the theme this year if “The Countryside” this gives plenty of scope for fancy dress and float design.

Can we take this opportunity to make an apology to Jacob Sutton who won the Page Boy for the Gala. In the copy sent for the May issue of The Link we referred to him as Jacob Saxton.

This year we have decided to make a few changes to the way that we manage entry to the field. Instead of “entry by programme” we will be using a system of “entry by wristband”. As well as being available on the day, wristbands will be available to pre-purchase from local shops and public houses. This should help to alleviate to congestion at the entrance.

One of our most popular annual attractions is the Tombola. If anyone wishes to donate a prize would they kindly contact Rosemary Horner (01524 770036).

Full details of all of the events and attractions can be found on our website and on our Facebook page (Caton Gala).  All suggestions are welcome, committee members can be contacted by e-mail at .

CAKE STALL - Come and buy cakes and biscuits from our stall at the Caton Gala run by Caton Baptist Church.
