The Caton and Brookhouse Gardening Club is holding its Open Gardens event again this year on 23rd and 24th June between 11:00am and 5:00pm on both days.
Half the gross proceeds are to be donated to the Bay Hospitals Charity Maternity appeal.
19 gardens will be opening, of all shapes and sizes, scattered all over the villages. Several of the gardens will be selling refreshments. Several will provide toilet facilities and one even has a model railway for which you can buy rides.
For those of you who have done the safari before there are many new gardens opening this time.
Start off by buying a programme at the Station Garage, Caton or the Londis Store, Brookhouse and on the programme you will find a list of gardens and a map.
In the weeks before the event, you can also buy a programme at the Victoria Institute, Caton Monday to Friday 9:30am to 3:00pm.
Come along and enjoy the beautiful Lune Valley, great views and navigating around the district.
