Twinning Association - New Year News

BeGreen Lower Lune Energy Advice Centre

The aim of BeGreen LowerLune is to help the local community reduce carbon emissions and fight fuel poverty by offering advice on energy efficiency, finding grants for insulation and how to reduce your energy consumption.
Lancaster City Council - How can we make every penny count?

An Uplifting Experience - WI Meeting

Home Library Service
Submitted by Administrator on Mon, 28/12/2009 - 7:23am.We are hoping to set up a Home Library Service from Halton Library with door to door delivery on a fortnightly basis of books, talking books, DVDs and Music. The service is intended for local residents who are restricted to their home through age, infirmity or disability. If you know of anyone who would benefit from the service please contact Gina Prill at the library.
Friendship Club AGM
Submitted by Administrator on Mon, 28/12/2009 - 7:20am.On January 21st we have the A.G.M. at 2.15pm in the Victoria Institute. This meeting is free and there will be a raffle. We hope to see you all there especially people who are not members, but would consider joining. Our meetings are held once a month in the Institute on the third Thursday of the month. We would welcome more help on the Committee to help with this very friendly Friendship Club.
Friendship Club New Year Party

This will be followed by entertainment by Arthur and Bill of Autumn Gold. The Party will be over about 4.00pm. We welcome members only.

Caton Scout Group Open Evening
Submitted by Administrator on Mon, 28/12/2009 - 7:14am.To add to our thriving Cub Pack here in Caton, we are looking to start Beavers for children aged 6 - 8 years and re-open our Scout Troop for young people aged 10 1/2 to 14 years. Scouting offers adventure, challenge and fun for boys and girls and we would like to offer this experience to a wider range of young people.
