Village Xmas Tree Exhibition!
Submitted by Chris Kynch on Fri, 20/11/2009 - 9:46am.A feast for the imagination will await you in St Paul's Church on Saturday 19th December when decorated and themed Xmas trees from village organisations and local businesses will be on show between 10.30am and 3.30 pm. If we haven’t contacted your organisation yet to ask you to bring along the tree you have, or to create something for the display, please do!
Lights Alive!
Submitted by Chris Kynch on Fri, 20/11/2009 - 9:43am.Everyone is warmly invited to the village tree lighting event, with carol singing, in the War Memorial Gardens at 5.00 pm on Saturday 12th December. Thanks to the Parish Council for welcoming this celebration with fundraising for the play park!
Lottery success for CLAP (Caton-with Littledale Action for Play) project!

There is lots of work to be done now applying for the few grants available all of which are very competitive … and our own fundraising to support the bids.
Caton St Paul's C of E Primary School Christmas Fair
Submitted by Administrator on Fri, 20/11/2009 - 7:22am.On Friday 4th December the school will be holding their annual Christmas Fair at 6pm. This is a fantastic event with lots of stalls for the young and old and there will even be a visit from Santa!
Help keep the Victoria Institute IT Centre Open!

Caton Pre-school Playgroup Nativity
Submitted by Administrator on Fri, 20/11/2009 - 7:17am.We will be holding our Playgroup Nativity on Tuesday 15th December at 10am at St. Paul's Church, Brookhouse. Everyone welcome. There will be refreshments served afterwards in the Church Hall and a raffle.
Farmwatch Scheme to be Rolled Out to Lower Lune Valley
Submitted by Administrator on Fri, 20/11/2009 - 7:13am.A successful texting scheme which sends crime prevention messages to farmers' mobile phones is to be rolled out across the Lower Lune Valley by the local community Police team from Caton Police Station during the winter months. The Farm Watch initiative already has over 130 members in Carnforth and the upper Lune Valley and it will now be expanded to strengthen the scheme even further.

Caton Community Primary School Christmas Fayre
