Once again we went to Ormside Mill over the summer and everyone had a great time. As the nights are getting shorter we will continue to open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7-9pm. So you young people why not come along and check out what we can offer!

We meet every Tuesday morning during term time from 10am-11.30am at the Victoria Institute.

For those that didn’t know, long before fame and fortune drew him away, Jim was a teacher here in Brookhouse and St Paul’s Church Hall his old classroom. The Black Bull Fund Raising Committee are proud to return him there, though just for the evening, to give us “The Inside Story”.

The trip to Bury Market will be on Wednesday 22nd October, leaving the Victoria Institute at 10.00am. This is the last trip of the season so please be thinking about where you would like to go next year, so we that we can arrange the programme in due course. Your ideas are a great help to us when the committee meet to decide where to go. Please see your representative to book your seat.
