The Centre, on Copy Lane, is presently little used. At the moment, income is less than expenditure and the question has been asked as to whether the village still needs the Centre as it exists today.

This members' only evening is not only the Annual meeting but involves a sweet treat!

Anne Wareing and Kath Eccleston take on the personae of Doris & Elsie to amuse us with their poetry.

Our speaker for this meeting is Dr Robin McIlveen.

John Makinson, our speaker for this month, has a mobile zoo in which he takes care of animals which people find or are unable to look after. The variety of animals in his zoo is quite unusual. Come and see for yourself!

This meeting is for members only and is when we will consider the recommendations for WI resolutions to be put before the general assembly.

Each year members vote on which resolutions will be put forward at the NFWI Annual General Meeting. The shortlist has not got down to two but only one can go forward so we will need to make a decision.

The Group meeting will be held at High Bentham. More details will be posted nearer the time
